    Event description

Join me for a magical nature connection experience with the cherry blossom field of blooms in the Auckland Botanic Gardens. A sight not to be missed.

Forest Bathing, also known as Forest Therapy or Shinrin Yoku, is a deep dive to awaken your senses to the world around you. It is a vital step to allow you to connect and commune, to listen to the voice of nature in a clarified way. It is the foundation of connecting with nature and you will gain depth even if you already spend a lot of time in nature. It's one thing to spend time in nature, it’s another thing entirely to realise that you are part of it now and always.

A two hour Forest Bathing Immersion offers many benefits including:

    - Leaving you feeling clear and energised

      - Helping you understand your place in the world

    - Boosting your immune system and overall well being

Starting with a sensory guided meditation, we will move through the nature scape slowly exploring, opening up all our senses to the living world around us. Surrender to nature and discover the deep connection you have to all of life.

This experience will be held in the Auckland Botanic Gardens. At this time of year the cherry blossoms are in full bloom and we will make the most of this spectacular display. This is why the event is quite early, so we can avoid the crowds and really immerse ourselves in the glory of spring.

We will end with a tea ceremony of edible plants gathered on our journey.

Led by Hannah McQuilkan qualified Medical Herbalist, certified Forest Therapy Guide and Celtic Druidess.

Limited to a max of 10, book now to avoid disappointment.

*no actual swimming* the 'bathing' refers to bathing in the healing power of nature.
