Spring Lecture Series 2025
Description
For the New Hampshire Historical Society's 2025 annual spring lecture series, the Society teams up with the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance to explore efforts to preserve our historic places—the houses, barns, town halls, churches, factories, and warehouses of the people who have lived here over the centuries. Both organizations play crucial roles in authentically restoring New Hampshire’s historic structures and finding appropriate modern uses for them. This series is presented, in part, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance.
This four-lecture series is free for members of the New Hampshire Historical Society and the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance. Nonmembers are invited to join the Society or the Alliance to enjoy this and other membership benefits. The lectures are offered in two formats: either as in-person programs or virtually through Zoom. Advance registration is required for everyone (in-person and virtual). Please note that space is limited for in-person attendance, so we encourage you to sign up early to avoid disappointment. Registering here signs you up for all four lectures, even though only the first date is listed. There is no option to sign up for individual lectures.
The dates of the lecture series are April 17, April 24, May 1, and May 8.
