We are really pleased to announce that the brilliant Melbourne based singer, guitarist and composer Laneous will be our guest for the May Starfish concert.
Championed by such taste makers as the BBC's Giles Peterson, and reputedly a significant influence on Hiatus Kaiyote, - contributing songs, mixtapes and cover art to Hiatus’ albums Tawk Tomahawk and Choose Your Weapon, - Laneous headed a sold out show at this year's Sydney Festival in a collaboration with the Starfish Club.
For this concert,Laneous will perform some exciting new material and we can safely predict that there'll be an Hawaian number or two as well as some choice curated covers.
Impeccably augmented by the wonderful talents of Oli Thorpe (pedal steel guitar) and Clayton Doley (organ/piano) and of course the Starfish Rhythm section of Hamish Stuart and Jonathan Zwartz on drums and double bass. This will be a hellovashow.
Doors at 6pm with music from 7pm
Starfish Kitchen will be open from 6pm
