Stencil art t-shirt workshop with Rory Dick — School Holiday Workshops at MAC

For ages 8-14

Create and print your own t-shirt design using stencils with artist Rory Dick. In this workshop you will learn how to turn your own design into a stencil and print it onto fabric. Some t-shirts provided, but bring an extra blank, light coloured t-shirt if you would like to make more than one.

Bring lunch and a water bottle.

Rory is a stencil artist with 20 years experience. His art practice includes painting, t-shirts, murals, workshops, as well as being a 5-time finalist in the Stencil Art Prize. On top of this he is also one of the organisers of Vibrance Street Art Festival.

Rory has been facilitating stencil and mural workshops since 2015. He has worked with the Huon Valley Council, Kickstart Arts, Bridgewater PCYC and Y-Space Kingston teaching people as young as 8 right through to almost 80 on a variety of workshops and projects.
