STEP NSW Branch invites you to the next Emerging Professionals Network event, to be held on Tuesday 26 August 2025 at the College of Law, Sydney.
The EPN’s focus is to foster engagement among professionals by providing opportunities to meet and exchange ideas in an informal networking environment.
The EPN is open to all professional advisors, educators and students with a trusts and estates focus in their practice (including legal, accounting, financial services and trust company backgrounds), whether for private or corporate clients.
With a focus on knowledge sharing and networking amongst emerging trust and estate professionals, this will be an interactive and inclusive event.
The event is being kindly hosted by the College of Law and will include a presentation and discussion on the topic of 'Top Tax Pitfalls for Estates'. The presenter for the evening will be Ian Raspin TEP, Managing Director of BNR Partners and past STEP Australia Chair.
The evening will include light refreshments and networking.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER | Ian Raspin TEP
Ian is the Managing Director of BNR Partners and is recognised both nationally and internationally on Australian estate taxation matters. He is a current sitting member of CPA Australia Taxation Centre of Excellence, sits on the Planning Advisory Committee for the College of Law, and immediate past Chair of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners Australia Limited.
Ian is a fellow of both CPA Australia and of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He is also a Certified Tax Advisor of the Taxation Institute of Australia, a registered Practitioner of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners and a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
