Steve grew up in the shadows of the industrial smoke stacks in the working class city of Allentown, Pa. After his misspent youth Steve picked up his guitar and embarked on his rock n’ roll dreams birthing Steve’s musical style and the Steve Brosky Band, then Steve Brosky n’ the Buix, and finally Steve Brosky and the BBC, he started to work at area clubs and sitting in with other musicians. After sitting in with Dave Fry one night at The King George Inn, the Morning Call music editor Paul Willistein loves Steve’s performance of his original song “King of the Queen Victoria”. Paul and Steve become fast friends.

Featuring on this CD with Steve is Jimmy Meyer on guitar as well as Kenny Siftar on guitar, Suavek Zaniesienko on bass as well as Josh Klein on bass , Wayne “paco” Maura on drums . And many others. Lisa Bodnar is a singer-songwriter from Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. Her music reflects the resilience and optimism of the region. Despite personal challenges, including the destruction of her home by floods, Lisa has stayed positive and channeled her experiences into her music. Her latest album, “40 Years in the Desert,” showcases her best work, with songs that range from haunting and reflective to upbeat and joyful. Lisa’s musical journey began early in life, influenced by her parents’ love of violin and California music. She started writing songs at a young age and gained recognition locally and in Philadelphia. Her debut album, “Maybe I Did,” received acclaim, and her sophomore release, “Come Hell or High Water,” earned Grammy nominations. Lisa’s music is known for its uplifting spirit and captivating vocals. After years of performing and collaborating with top artists, she returns with a more stripped-down and authentic sound in her latest album, “40 Years in the Desert,” with guitarist/producer Dann Araque. Her ultimate goal is to create songs that evoke strong emotions and elevate listeners’ spirits.
