Stitching for a Friend - National Breast Cancer Foundation Fundraiser
Description
Did you know that every day 56 people in Australia are diagnosed with breast cancer and 9 people in Australia die every day from this disease?
Make Space together with local artist Amanda Donohue are hosting Stitching for a Friend where you can join in and sew a brooch to acknowledge a friend who has been touched by cancer.
Come along on Sunday 8th March, International Women's Day, between 10:30am and 2:30pm and stitch a brooch for someone you love, have a cup of tea, and enjoy a piece of cake. You'll need to allow about an hour but you're welcome to stay as long as there's cake.
Register for the event or, if you can't make it on the day, go to the National Breast Cancer Foundation page to donate (and get an automatic tax receipt if applicable).
Please support us in our efforts to make a difference.
For more details on the event and how to join in on the day click the Register button. You can reserve your place for as little as $30 or include a donation and pay a bit more.
Aimed at anyone aged 14 years and above.
Please contact Amanda on amanda@terraross.biz with any queries.
