Stone Lithography
Event description
This two-day course explores the basics of stone lithography, giving participants an opportunity to draw and paint on the remarkable surface of a lithographic stone with a variety of lithographic crayons, pencils and tusche.
Participants will learn how to prepare and grain the stone's surface, process their drawing, and prepare paper for printing.
Gain an understanding of the intricate process of making a stone lithograph and develop the skills to print your own original prints on APW’s manual and electric lithographic presses.
