Event description

Led by professional animator, Alex Machin, kids aged 8-13 years are invited to create their own stop motion animation movie during a 3-day workshop at Moonah Arts Centre!

Are you a fan of Wallace and Gromit or Shawn the Sheep? Ever wanted to make your own movie in that style but didn't know where to start? Now's your chance!

Working in groups, participants will write scripts, create plasticine characters, sets and props, animate a movie frame by frame and record character voices. Upon completion, students will be emailed a link to their short films.

Tuesday 16 - Thursday 18 July

10am - 3pm

3 day workshop

Suitable for 8-13 year olds

10 participants

Participant fee: $240

Participants need to bring their own lunch and a water bottle on each day of the workshop
