Street gardening for biodiversity and habitat - Richmond
Event description
Learn about planting and maintaining street gardens with a focus on native plants. Join local horticulturalist Michael Benham from Victorian Indigenous Nurseries Cooperative (VINC) to learn how to boost support for biodiversity using native indigenous plants whilst greening your neighbourhood.
The last 20mins of this event will include a short walk to look at plants in a variety of settings in the community.
Please note: There are three workshops on Street gardening in September, they will cover the same topics so please attend the one most convenient to you.

Please note that this is an event for Naarm/Melbourne gardeners only. If you live outside this area, please contact your council to find out what free sustainable gardening events are available locally.
If you have any access or support questions or requirements in order to participate fully (eg. interpreter), please let us know at least two weeks prior to the event and we will be pleased to assist you. Photos will be taken at this event, but there is an option to opt out on the day.
