Street Wisdom: Walking with the Birrarung
Find Your Way with Street Wisdom
What if the Birrarung could help you see things differently?
Join experienced Street Wisdom facilitators Diana Barnett and Skye Bennett for a guided walking workshop that transforms a simple stroll beside the river into an opportunity for reflection, creativity and fresh thinking.
Inspired by the wisdom of rivers, this unique experience invites you to slow down, notice your surroundings and explore one quiet question:
What would the river thank us for learning today?
As you wander together along the Birrarung, you'll take part in the globally recognised Street Wisdom walking practice, a simple yet powerful approach that uses mindful walking, observation and conversation to help navigate life's twists and turns.
Whether you're seeking inspiration, clarity or simply a chance to reconnect with nature, this guided walk offers an opportunity to pause, reflect and take positive steps forward.
No experience is necessary, just bring your curiosity and a willingness to wander.
This event is proudly hosted by Street Wisdom.

We pay respect to Traditional Owners, who have, and continue, to care for Country. We acknowledge that the river now called Yarra has always been known as the Birrarung by its custodians.
