Join us for a captivating evening of classical music, where the timeless works of Bach, Piazzolla, Scarlatti, Aguado, Llobet, Cassado, and Nin will come to life. 

This concert promises a rich and diverse program, highlighting the exquisite sounds of the guitar and cello. Experience both solo and duo performances that explore the depth and beauty of these instruments.

In addition to enjoying a night of remarkable music, your attendance will support a worthy cause. All proceeds from the concert will benefit a local animal shelter in Orange, NSW, helping to provide care and support for animals in need. Indulge in an evening of musical brilliance while contributing to the well-being of our furry friends.

Artists

Stephanie Li

Stephanie is an Australian cellist whose passion for music has led her all over the world. She graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a Bachelor of Music Honours degree, and in 2019 she graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a Master of Music. 

Experienced with historical and modern instruments and bows, Stephanie’s work covers a range of repertoire from early Renaissance repertoire to contemporary pop. From touring internationally with a session band to premiering new solo, chamber and orchestral works and recording tracks for films and video games, Stephanie continues to perform, compose and arrange music in a variety of settings and genres. Stephanie is particularly passionate about bringing music to those who may not have access to live performance, and she has performed in many schools, hospital wards and aged care homes. Her internship with the UK organisation “Music in Hospitals” led to a performance at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Manchester which was broadcast on BBC. 

Jeffrey Cheah (Guitar)

Based in Sydney, Australia, Jeffrey Cheah is an acclaimed classical guitarist whose career highlights include performing as a soloist with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra in 2023, solo performances across the Oceanic and Asia Pacific region, and being a prizewinner and finalist in over 15 international competitions.

He has studied under respected teachers such as Vladimir Gorbach, Timothy Kain, Minh Le Hoang, and Phillip Houghton.

In addition to his skills as a performer, Jeffrey is a dedicated music educator with over a decade of teaching experience. When not making music, he can be found making memories with his wife and dog, Poh.
