You are Invited: An Event of Connection & Conversation

You are warmly invited to a special evening hosted by the MCCSA Women's Council, supported by the Alcohol and Drug Foundation – designed with women in mind: real talk, real connection, and real care for ourselves and our families.

Date: Wednesday, 14th May

Time: 4:00pm – 7:00pm
Location: MCCSA, 113 Gilbert Street, Adelaide

1. Walk – 4:00pm
Meet in the MCCSA foyer no later than 3.45pm. Start with a gentle 1-hour wellbeing walk around Veale Gardens. A chance to unwind, chat, and enjoy some fresh air before the evening begins.

2. Talk – 5:00pm
Join us back at MCCSA for inspiring and supportive talks from two incredible women and professionals:

Luisa Greco, Regional Community Development Manager, The Alcohol and Drug Foundation. A passionate advocate for community wellbeing. Breaking the Silence: Addressing Stigma Around Alcohol and Drug Harm in Multicultural Communities.

Sarah Hennessy
Founder of Memorable Mocktails – South Australia’s first alcohol-free wellness school. With a background in brain health and foraging, Sarah has been crafting healthy, vibrant drinks for two decades and will share her passion for mindful sipping.

3. Connect – 6:00pm
Enjoy a relaxed space with other women, featuring Sarah’s delicious and healthy mocktails, soul-warming snacks, and meaningful conversations.

💜 What to Expect:

  • A safe, supportive, and empowering environment
  • Real conversations around alcohol, drugs, wellbeing and women’s lives
  • Creative drinks, treats, and time to unwind

This is a free event, made possible thanks to the support of the Alcohol and Drug Foundation.

We kindly ask that you respect your booking – if you can no longer attend, please release your spot in time so another woman can join us.
