Heidi Gleisner and her family has graciously invited us to meet at their homestead in Walnut Creek.

During our time together Hedi would like to share a bit about the animals we breed and raise on our little homestead, along with a buzzing apiary my son started when he was 12. We will also learn how we use Azure - an independent supply chain that promotes health freedom, and sample some local raw honey.

Our family had some takeaways from 2020:
1. We were very far from being self-sufficient
2. We were under the false impression that you can only homestead if you have 10+ acres. When doors were closing on us to purchase land out of area, we learned to re-evaluate what we had to work with right in the East Bay suburbs.
