“How long does it take to fall in love? Depends how fast you jump”
Noah Centineo, Americas favourite heartthrob and god of Twitter has found himself thrust into a tumultuous quarter-life crisis. His love-life is in turmoil, nobody will take him seriously and to make matters worse he is trapped inside a twisted Netflix rom-com that he is unable to escape from. Noah’s journey will take him to the very depths of his own soul; a journey filled with strange Nathans, celebrities who I’m pretty sure are dead and vaguely Christmas-themed interpretive ballet numbers.
This production is a table-read for a play written by two slightly-Noah Centineo-obsessed uni students who are keen to see if their sense of humour is as funny to everyone else as it is to them. As such, we'll be treating these reads as a kind of workshop, and we'll be eager to hear our audience's feedback so we can improve the script before its currently-hypothetical but hopefully-eventual staged production.
If you're unable to make the reads in-person, fear not! We'll be filming these reads and uploading an edited version online for your convenience and/or pleasure. With that said, we'd love as many people to come in-person as possible, so we can gauge audience reactions to the play.
We can't wait to hear your thoughts on this bonkers, hopefully-not-defamatory play!
The Centinenary approaches.
Long Live Noah.
