Sue Gee in concert
Description
Sue Gee returns to Melbourne for one concert.
You are invited to an evening of fun and harmony with Sue Gee.
Sue Gee is a singer-songwriter from Sydney with an "edge" who has long amused audiences with her acerbic lyrics on politics, environment, society and women's "herstory". She can also run a rollicking feminist sing-along, fuelled by her involvement as Artist in Residence at the Gaia Temple, in Melbourne. She was a Music Therapist for 18 years, and very much encourages audience participation.
Sue accompanies herself on guitar, autoharp, ukelele and harmonica. Her latest CD: ‘Planet Hot’, comprises a selection of songwriting efforts on the above-mentioned topics, accompanied by several other musicians and singers.
Come and join us for a delightful, intimate evening with Sue where she will perform her own compositions and led us in a sing-a-long of some of the classics, in the comfortable Jika Jika community venue.
Light refreshments will be served during the evening.
Time: Friday Oct 30, 2026. 6.30pm for a 7pm start.
Venue: Jika Jika Centre 18 Plant St, Northcote
