About Sustainable Neighbourhoods

Sustainable Neighbourhoods is an initiative of Lake Macquarie City Council to empower residents to act on local environmental and sustainability issues.

Sustainable Neighbourhood groups and activities are supported and governed by the Lake Macquarie Sustainable Neighbourhood Alliance, an incorporated not-for-profit association.

Sustainable Neighbourhood groups create and deliver a range of projects and events – by neighbours, for neighbours. All projects are conceived, planned and delivered by volunteers for the benefit of our local environment and community.

Find out more about Sustainable Neighbourhoods at sustainableneighbourhoods.org.au.

Sustainable Neighbourhoods is a partnership between the Lake Macquarie Sustainable Neighbourhood Alliance and Lake Macquarie City Council.
