Slow Food Summer Cheese Degustation
Event description
Join Gina Dal Santo and Rosa Matto as they explore fresh, local cheeses. They will demonstrate some surprising culinary uses, storage and properties of the most popular of fresh cheeses, each dish accompanied by a taste of Nepenthe Adelaide Hills wine and Gina's own Limoncello with dessert.
Gina Dal Santo is a Churchill Fellow who is a world renowned cheese expert and educator. Rosa Matto's teaching and catering career spans more than four decades. They are both Slow Food SA committee members.
The menu will include five seasonal dishes, all featuring local, fresh cheeses. Think beyond the obvious and fully understand the traditional, seasonal nature of these simple but versatile cheeses. Recipes for all the dishes will be provided.
