Summer Forest Bathing Walk : Calmness for the Soul
Event description
Join us for a serene forest bathing walk designed for women. We will immerse ourselves in the serene embrace of nature's wonders. Experience the calming symphony of rustling leaves, breathe in the earthy fragrance of trees, and feel the gentle warmth of sunlight filtering through the canopy—all while enveloped in a soothing cocoon of peace and serenity found at Haley Farm State Park.
In Japan, the ancient practice known as shinrin-yoku, or forest bathing, invites people to reconnect with nature through their senses. Our journey through Haley Farm State Park offers an immersive exploration of its varied landscapes - from lush fields and meadows to a serene Cedar Grove, robust oak-hickory forest, marshy shorelines, and vibrant freshwater wetlands. Each environment provides a unique vista and an invitation for deep reflection.
To enrich our experience, we'll introduce a special element during our walk: the PlantWave device. This innovative technology allows us to "hear" the subtle vibrations and communications of trees and plants, fostering a deeper connection with the natural world around us.
Our walk will include time along the walk dedicated to reflective journaling with guided prompts. This will allow us to document our thoughts, emotions, and revelations, all inspired by the natural beauty, sounds, and tranquility that envelop us.
Please bring a light-packed lunch to enjoy together as we conclude our walk. We will gather in a circle to share our meals and reflections, fostering meaningful connections with each other and integrating the peace and wisdom we discover in nature.
Join us on this revitalizing journey of forest bathing to experience the remarkable therapeutic and rejuvenating powers of nature and to nourish your mind, body, and spirit amidst her profound beauty and wisdom among small group of like-minded women.
