Welcome to Qtopia Sydney

Opening Hours - 10.30am to 4.30pm Wednesday to Sunday 

The Exhibitions cover three locations, The Main Building, The Substation and The Toilet Block.

General admission includes access to all three locations.

Please Note: 
The Substation and Toilet Block are open 12pm to 1pm and 2pm to 3pm Wednesday to Sunday. The Substation and The Toilet Block have limited accessibility and are only available by stairs.  Please be mindful of the open times and plan your trip accordingly. 

Qtopia Sydney is a welcoming and inclusive space devoted to the memory, education and celebration of the unique histories and lived experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community. We deliver stories through exhibitions, performances and education. Visit out exhibition spaces to join the story.

Getting Here:

Qtopia Sydney is located close to Sydney’s CBD, at 301 Forbes Street, Darlinghurst, with multiple options for public transport.

The following bus lines stop near Qtopia Sydney – 200, 311, 333, 396, 440.

From Kings Cross Station, the walk to Qtopia Sydney takes approximately 12 minutes. Museum Station is approximately 15 mins walk.

Street parking is largely ticketed. Parking is available in St Vincent’s Hospital car park (approx. 5 mins walk from Forbes Street). Wilson Carpark at 70 Riley Street is approximately a 10 min walk from Qtopia Sydney.
