Sunset Flow || Ecstatic Dance On The Beach

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Come dance under the setting sun, with the sand beneath your feet and between your toes.

Let go into ecstasy, fall in love with this life once more.

Worship the earth beneath you as you dance the dance of you. Let go into the other realms, become one with the ocean that we move with. Be inspired by the waves.

Dance with a community of like-minded people. Drop the mind and journey into the heart and body. Sweat your prayers, open your mind and heart to the possibility of deep communion with the ocean.

The ocean inspires me every time I watch its waves move. I become one with it as I drop the mind and let my body flow with the pulsation and rhythm of the waves.

We have done this before, and it was nothing short of magic. There was something so sacred about it. And also so fun. Faces were radiant and smiles were wide, hearts were opened.

My intention for this event is to connect to nature, to remember our relationship with the world around us. We are not seperate, but there is possibility to interweave body, heart and nature together.

To find deep appreciation for life and all that we have

To be grateful for this dance and the ocean

To laugh, and dance and play

To connect with a community

Join a group of dancing souls to commune with the ocean.

Let us remember the power the sea holds, and see it reflected within our own being.

This dance will be a beautiful way to connect and ground in with nature, feel the sand beneath your feet and watch the magic unfold as the sun sets.

Let us dance together with the intention of pure joy of getting to do so.

About Ecstatic Dance:

Ceri, the facilitator will guide the experience. Through an opening ceremony, grounding, and will then guide you through the dance, with music that will take you on a deep journey.

The recipe is simple: No booze, no shoes, great music and an epic tribe come together to dance.

Don’t worry about steps or form or how you look, it’s not that kind of dance.

Our dance is one that throws the rule books away and instead encourages you to release to the music and let go of that pesky judging mind.

Transcending language, cultural and personal barriers, Ecstatic Dance enables millions to connect through dance and music all over the world.

Ecstatic Dance helps us break down the layers of self and come together as a tribe the way our ancestors have always done until very recently. By getting in touch with our roots and our bodies we are able to unlock the deep knowledge of the body and the heart and start to release control of the thinking mind.

When we step on the dance floor, we include our whole selves, even the frightened parts that want to hide. We dance through pain and sorrow. We dance with joy until our hard edges soften and our masks fall away.

We meet other courageous dancers, weaving unbreakable threads of connection. our friendships transcend the boundaries of time and space. and it all melts together–beat, movement, breath–into a swirling vortex we call community.

As the throbbing pulse of the dance floor matches our own heartbeat, we know, without a doubt, we are not alone.
