Support & Guidance for the Sandwich Generation - Navigating Aged Care with Confidence
Event description
Join us for a relaxed and informative morning tea at The Bush Pantry Capalaba on Wednesday 30th July, where we’ll be joined by Savannah & Sophie from Retirement Care Solutions to talk through some of the most common concerns and questions facing families as their loved ones age.
Whether you're currently supporting an elderly parent or grandparent, or simply looking to understand what options are available for the future, this session is especially for those in — or approaching — the sandwich generation.
Over a beautiful complimentary morning tea (think sandwiches, cakes, mini muffins, and a hot drink on arrival), we’ll cover topics such as:
How to know when a loved one needs extra support
How to keep them in their home safely for longer
What aged care or respite options are available
Who to speak to and what steps to take when the time comes
And more, based on your questions submitted via our poll in the Social Mums Club group
There will also be time at the end for an open Q&A, plus attendees will receive a handy goodie bag of information to take home.
Babies in arms are welcome. If you need to bring a toddler or young child, please just let Talia know in advance so we can ensure a comfortable experience for all guests.
Spots limited to 15 – so BOOK NOW to secure your spot!
This is a FREE event, with a hot or cold drink and morning tea provided.
If you register but can no longer make it, please let Talia know so that we can give your spot to someone else who needs this.
