Supporting Babies' First Movements - Albany
Description
Understanding a new baby’s process of going from womb to walking in the first year can be confusing and stressful. With so much information and pressure coming from many directions around a baby needing to achieve milestones, having a clear understanding of how we can best support our little ones in this important fundamental time of their lives can really help parents settle into the joy of relating and caring for baby in this time.
This is a workshop for pregnant parents, parents of babies under 4 months of age and caregivers. It is designed to empower parents to understand and trust in their baby’s natural developmental movement progression. They will come away with a clear understanding of where their responsibilities lie as parents as well as tools to help them engage with, hold and handle their baby in a way that will help enable baby in their progress of developmental movement in the most integrated and resourced way.
Time: 10am-12:30pm
Date: Wednesday 11th February 2026
Where: Rainbow Coast Neighbourhood Centre, 219 North Rd, Centennial Park, Albany
