Event description
Supportive Strategies for Neurodiverse Learners
What is neurodiversity? How can you support students who have a diagnosis of Autism or ADHD? Please join CSV for a workshop on Supportive Strategies for Neurodiverse Learners. Lindsay Gomes, Behavior Specialist for the Cambridge Public Schools, will explain ways that students communicate through their behavior. Focusing on strengths, not just challenges, Lindsay will offer practical strategies for volunteers to support communication and build confidence and connection with all kinds of learners.
