Switch Off & Groove's NAIDOC fundraiser for Merana
Freemans Reach School of Arts
Freemans Reach NSW, Australia
Event description
A dance in the dark fundraising event: An hour of NAIDOC inspired grooves. ALL proceeds go to Merana Aboriginal Community Association of the Hawkesbury Inc.
Switch Off & Groove is a dance class held in complete darkness. This fundraiser session invites participants to move and groove freely to a compilation of songs by Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander artists. With no instructor, no choreography and no expectations, Switch Off & Groove is a space where we switch off the lights, switch off our minds and just dance!
