Central Marin Singers Drop-In Song Circle -- Summer '24 Season

*** Thank you to the 65+ singers who sang with us during our drop-in Winter Season '23, the 35 members of our Spring '24 Joyful Voices Chorus community choir series, and all 72 singers who sang together at our Spring '24 Big Sing! ***

Do you love to sing? While you're driving, on a walk, or in the shower? Then this drop-in choir is for you! Our choir is:

• Easy to join in and sing because singing experience is never needed, all songs are taught by ear, there's no music to read, and you never have to have attended a previous evening
• Non-audition, non-performative, and anti-perfectionistic
• Welcoming, accepting, and inclusive. We create a safe, non-judgmental, collaborative space that's nurturing and supportive for all, especially if you're feeling nervous.
• SO. MUCH. FUN.

So...what kinds of songs do we sing?

• We sing contemporary, non-religious, community-singing songs -- unison songs, chants, rounds, layer songs, and 2-, 3-, and 4-part harmony songs.
  
• Songs are selected for their ability to rejuvenate, soothe, uplift and inspire!

The details:

• We're in our usual huge Duncan Hall auditorium space at the church in San Anselmo Wednesday evenings, July 31st and August 7th, 7:00-8:30. We'll have some fans/doors/windows open for airflow.
  
• Please don't attend if you have any symptoms, even if you think they're allergy-related. Our COVID policy is required reading before you attend.
  
• If you haven't sung in any of my groups before, you can try it once FREE.
  
• Sliding scale cost: $25 Supporting, $20 Standard, $15 Supported, kids under 18 (with accompanying adult) free.
• All voices are welcome. We have many new singers with us every week!
