Do you love to sing? While you're driving, on a walk, or in the shower? Then this drop-in choir is for you! Our choir is:

Easy to join in and sing because singing experience is never needed, all songs are taught by ear, there's no music to read, and you never have to have attended a previous evening
Non-audition, non-performative, and anti-perfectionistic
Welcoming, accepting, and inclusive. We create a safe, non-judgmental, collaborative space that's nurturing and supportive for all, especially if you're feeling nervous.
SO. MUCH. FUN.

So...what kinds of songs do we sing?

We sing contemporary, non-religious, community-singing songs -- unison songs, chants, rounds, layer songs, and 2-, 3-, and 4-part harmony songs.
Songs are selected for their ability to rejuvenate, soothe, uplift and inspire!

The details:

Sunday, July 21, 4:00-5:30 outdoors at Santa Margarita Valley Park in San Rafael, on De La Guerra Road, not far from Scotty's Market in Terra Linda. We'll be under a big shady tree; bring something to sit on (I'll be sitting on a blanket), a hat, sunscreen, and water. There are bathrooms there, and lots of street parking.
Until further notice, the following is NOT happening, although that could change at any moment: [We're in our usual huge Duncan Hall auditorium space at the church in San Anselmo Wednesday evenings, June 19th-26th & July 24th-August 7th, 7:00-8:30. We'll have some fans/doors/windows open for airflow and the massive heating system going to keep us warm if need be.]
Please don't attend if you have any symptoms, even if you think they're allergy-related. Our COVID policy is required reading before you attend.
If you haven't sung in any of my groups before, you can try it once FREE.
Sliding scale cost: $25 Supporting, $20 Standard, $15 Supported, kids under 18 (with accompanying adult) free.
All voices are welcome. We have many new singers with us every week!
