GIRL POWER by Swoon

Three of Tasmania’s best-loved Divas; Allison Farrow, Blythe Tait and Nicole Simms-Farrow unite to create the ultimate girl group! Get set for a triple-strength dose of Girl Power, celebrating some of the best female musicians and composers. Featuring songs from Madonna, Kylie, Lady Gaga, P!nk, Taylor Swift and more.. Swoon will also pay tribute to famous girl groups throughout history, including The Andrews Sisters, The Supremes and Destiny’s Child. Supported by a skillful band of Marvellous Men, Swoon welcomes one and all to celebrate the glorious music made from Girl Power, all with Swoon’s signature vintage jazz styling, close harmonies, and an abundance of glamour.

At Moonah Arts Centre, we are devoted to promoting inclusion and celebrating the diversity of gender, age, race, faith and abilities. Our facilities were designed with inclusivity in mind, featuring all-gender bathrooms, ramps and ground-level access, accessible meeting and break-out rooms, hearing loops and plenty of accessible parking. Moonah Arts Centre is a member of the Australian Breastfeeding Associations “Breastfeeding is Welcome Everywhere” network.

Our visual arts and performance program offers regular exhibitions, workshops and events. We also have several spaces available to hire for presentations, functions and events.
