Tall Shaun & Hein Cooper : Christmas Edition 2025

This Christmas, The Barn on the Ridge will come alive with two of the South Coast’s most celebrated musical forces — Hein Cooper and Tall Shaun & The Resolution — uniting for one incredible night of homegrown talent, storytelling, and soulful country-folk infused sounds.

From international stages to local roots, Hein Cooper has earned acclaim as one of Australia’s most emotive singer-songwriters. With a career spanning global tours with James Bay and Lukas Graham, his newest album My Own marks a triumphant return to independence — blending heartfelt introspection with rich, organic indie-folk.

Sharing the stage is Tall Shaun & The Resolution, led by powerhouse frontman Shaun Wessel, whose unforgettable run on The Voice 2022 launched one of the South Coast’s biggest country-blues acts. Their EP Resolution, featuring fan favourites like Trainstation, has solidified the band’s reputation as festival headliners, sharing stages with Keith Urban and Texas legends Uncle Lucius. With Jy Rogers on drums, Brad Parsons on bass, and Dan Sipple on guitar, the band’s latest catalogue of tunes will debut at The Barn on the Ridge, giving South Coast fans a first taste of tracks set to be recorded on their anticipated follow up release this summer. 

Together, Hein and Tall Shaun embody the beating heart of the South Coast’s thriving music scene — raw, soulful, and brimming with authenticity. This special Christmas show promises soaring harmonies, heartfelt storytelling, and a fusion of folk, country, and blues that will leave the Ridge ringing long into the night.

Some housekeeping items:

- Bring a picnic rug and reusable cup to enjoy great music with family and friends.

- Seating is first come first serve - we recommend you bring a picnic rug or low chairs. Visitors with high back chairs will be asked to set up towards the back of the lawn due to the slope of the grass, and to avoid limiting others' view.

It will likely be hot. You are welcome to bring gazebos/umbrellas but please courteous of your space and those around you. It is recommended to wear a hat and sunscreen.

- Food and drinks will be available for purchase, please do not BYO drinks. 

- There is limited parking available at the venue, we encourage attendees to carpool where possible or pre- book with Plan B Passenger Service, Shoalhaven Passenger Service or Milton/Ulladulla Taxi Service

- This event is accessible to all ages and abilities - kids under 9 do not require a ticket. Pets are welcome on leads, but please come prepared with bags and pick up after your furry friends :)

- No need to print your ticket - we can scan you in using an e-copy!
