Welcome to our introductory course Tantra Foundations Course 2 at Midnight Garden Temple's Tantric Mystery School (19 August to 13 September 2026).
The prerequisite for this course is Tantra Foundations Course 1
Whether you are new to Tantra or have been on the path for a while, the Tantric Mystery School is here to support you every step of the way. The Tantra Foundations Course is held on Wednesday nights at our Rainforest Temple in Coledale, Northern Illawarra.
Tantra Foundations is a two-part course designed to build a stable and integrated foundation for Tantric practice and Kuṇḍalinī awakening. The journey begins with the physical, emotional, and mental dimensions of experience before gradually expanding into the more subtle and esoteric teachings of Tantra. Through a combination of teaching and experiential practice sessions, students are invited to first understand the teachings intellectually and then embody them through direct experience within the body and energy system.
The Temple's Tantra curriculum is offered as a progressive pathway, with each course building upon the last to create a balanced energetic foundation. This sequential approach supports a natural and organic unfolding into our advanced programmes: Tantra Evolve, Tantra Expand, and Tantra Embodiment.
COURSE OVERVIEW
Tantra Foundations is a two-part course. Each course includes 5 in- person sessions within a 4 week period: 4 evening Wednesday classes and 1 half-day immersion on the last Sunday (12 hours in-person tuition per course, 24 hours total in course series)
Course 1: Body & Kundalini (22 July to 16 August 2026)
This course offers a foundational entry into Tantric practice, beginning with the essential teaching of self-love and embodied awareness. We start by cultivating a loving relationship with the self — grounding into the physical body and expanding awareness into the mental and emotional bodies. As this foundation deepens, the nervous system begins to relax, allowing access to the subtle (energy) body.
Through teachings and practices, students are introduced to the human energy system, including prana, nadis, chakras, and Kundalini energy. We explore energy flow, blockages, frequency, and the layers of the subtle (auric) body, building awareness of how energy moves within and through us.
Students are guided through foundational Tantric breath and energy practices, auric body awareness, and an introduction to working with Kundalini energy.
This is a deeply supportive, integrated and embodied foundation for the Tantric path, cultivating awareness, presence, and connection to self.
Course 2: Polarity & Union (19 August to 13 September 2026)
This course explores the dynamics of polarity, energy exchange, and inner union within Tantric practice. Through both teaching and embodied experience, students deepen their understanding of masculine and feminine energies, learning to recognise and balance these forces within themselves, in relationship, and in connection with the world.
We explore the Tantric principles of duality and non-duality, opening awareness to the movement between separation and unity. Practices support the integration of these energies, guiding the practitioner toward inner harmony and wholeness.
Through solo and partnered practices, students experience polarity, energetic connection, and the embodiment of Śiva and Śakti. The course also introduces early stages of inner alchemical union, including practices that begin to soften duality and open into Tantric union.
This is a deeper step into embodied Tantra, supporting the integration of energy, awareness, and connection as a pathway toward unity.
IMPORTANT NOTE
The Temple offers an integrated holistic approach to traditional Tantric teachings, rooted in yogic principles and spiritual embodiment. All practices are conducted fully clothed with no explicit sexual touch or physical sexual practices.
Our work is energy-based, with a strong emphasis on personal boundaries, presence and integrity. While the journey may naturally lead to deeper healing and liberation in the realm of sexuality, this is not the focus of our teachings. We focus on cultivating presence, energetic awareness, embodiment and authentic connection within a sacred and respectful container.

The Tantric Mystery School supports and guides students through a deeper understanding of spirituality, energy, self-awareness and unity. Our intention is to nurture a safe container for healing and spiritual growth within community.
Our teachings are presented in a relatable, digestible and experiential way, allowing students to fully embody the work. Our focus is the development of a deeper connection with oneself and with all life. We hold deep reverence for the heart and spirit within each of us so we can grow together in harmony on our journey of expansion.
ABOUT ME, ALLISON:
I am a Tantra teacher and Tantric healing practitioner and founder of Midnight Garden Temple. I created the Temple space following an intense Kundalini awakening which spontaneously activated my Tantric codes. After many years of study, reflection, activation, integration and deep remembrance, I know this is my life and always has been my life. I realised everything has been leading me to this work.
I now offer an integrated holistic approach to traditional Tantric teachings, building a balanced foundation for growth and expansion within community.

Our integrated, trauma-aware approach allows for the organic rising of Kundalini Shakti within a safe and sacred container. This powerful life-force energy initiates soul-level healing and realigns you with your higher self and divine purpose. Allison has lifetimes of experience attuning to Shakti power and can support and guide you through all levels of awakening.
