The Tapatoru Ako Professional Practice Award was commissioned by the TEC and developed by Ako Aotearoa’s ALNACC team.

There is a Tapatoru Individual Award and a Tapatoru Organisation Award.

Annette and Graeme will provide information and answer your questions in this session.

The Tapatoru is:

  • a whole-organisation approach to capability building
  • a powerful reflective practice tool
  • grounded in mātauranga Māori, with a Tapa Tolu Pacific version available as well
  • a learner-centred framework focused on meeting the holistic needs of learners.
