Event description

Celia, Michael and Thomas present a very special Exclusive Musical Soiree featuring award-winning South Australian dancer, formerly Ambassador of Friends of Australian Ballet SA, Chloe Hurn, which supports Chloe's entry into Rambert Ballet School, London.

This evening is supported by sponsors Hutton Vale Farm, Consortium Music

Expect an evening of dance-inspired music from favourite composers, including excerpts from famous ballets Swan Lake and La Bayadere, Australian icon Percy Grainger, Argentinian Tango composer Astor Piazolla, and more. Our musicians will introduce the program in person.

This evening is a chance to appreciate a high-quality performance in an appealing program delivered with audience-friendly connection by three of Adelaide's internationally known independent artists, in Adelaide's stunning newest venue, North Adelaide Baroque Hall.

Michael Ierace will perform on the handbuilt piano from Steingraeber and Sohne, imported from Bayreuth.

To witness musicians and dancer close up is a rare and revealing opportunity:

"Chamber music at its best... so intimate that listening was like eavesdropping on musicians playing for themselves..." Limelight *****

Chloe Hurn has been awarded direct entry into London’s Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance Foundation Degree/BA for the 2023 intake. This is a coveted position of which only 11 people worldwide are offered and a portion of all ticket sales will be donated to her fundraising.

Tarrawatta Trio wish to acknowledge the traditional people and the land of the Eden Valley, Barossa, as well as the earliest pioneers who settled on the land that is now Collingrove Homestead and where the Trio have first performed. Tonight's performers pay respect to the Kauna people, traditional owners of the lands on which North Adelaide Baroque Hall now stands.

The doors will open from 630pm with canapés and wine. The musical program will run from 7:00 - 8:15 pm with a chance to interact with the musicians afterwards.

Enjoy top-quality handmade catering, wine by Hutton Vale Farm and the knowledge that you are supporting and advancing South Australian artistry while immersing in a bespoke acoustic venue designed with meticulous precision to reflect a 1720's Rococo interior.

Your attendance supports Adelaide's expanding, vibrant, independent arts sector. We look forward to welcoming you in person.

There is plenty of parking in nearby streets.
