Nau mai, haere mai ki te Wharetaonga o Te Awaroa. Welcome to Te Awaroa’s (Helensville’s) museum.
A unique look into the history of the Southern Kaipara, Te Awaroa Museum invites visitors to learn about the various cultures that helped form our region. First Polynesian settlers and then European were lured by the Kaipara River. Come and find out why.
What are we doing?
We will have some talks and learn about some really cool historical pieces from the wonderful Museum volunteers. The topics will be early schooling, musket wars and the Kaipara Harbour.
We will have time for a lunch break and be able to walk around the museum and the grounds.
The museums displays require close supervision please of children.

Group Minimums: There is a minimum amount of tickets that need to purchased on most events (set by the venue). If this event fails to reach the minimum amount of tickets booked before the last day of registration; the event will be cancelled and refunded.
