Join artist Shan Michaels in a workshop exploring soft sculpture and textile production with a focus on creating works for people with disabilities, including sensory impairments and those who are blind or with low vision. Connect your new knowledge and skills to industry practices with a behind-the-scenes preview of the installation and exhibition of work by Shan with Adelaide Contemporary Experimental.

A certificate of professional learning will be provided. This professional learning workshop will support you in demonstrating the following AITSL Australian Professional Standards for Teacher: 2.1 3.2, 4.1, 6.2, 6.3, 7.1, 7.4.

This Teacher Professional Learning is a Carclew in Schools initiative and is presented in partnership with Adelaide Contemporary Experimental and Visual Arts Educators Association South Australia.
