Teen/Adult Workshop: Capturing the Beauty of Natural Landscapes in Pure Watercolour

Join Martin Necas for a workshop in ‘fast and loose’, watercolour and learn the secrets of creating beautiful, expressive, captivating and visually rich watercolour paintings with a minimum of time and effort. The workshop is suitable for all skill levels from beginners to accomplished watercolour artists. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish.

Martin is a Hamilton-based watercolour artist. He gravitates toward bold and expressive impressionist natural landscapes that capture the raw beauty of New Zealand in its grandeur, wonder, mystery and beauty. Martin’s painting style is characterised by confident brush-strokes and high-intensity colour palettes.

Martin has run numerous popular watercolour workshops (approximately 6 per year) across the North Island with excellent feedback. His aim is not only to educate participants but to inspire them.

"Amazing class, I loved every bit of it and I’m so glad I have some work to take home and put on the wall - that actually looks better than I thought it was going to, is quite satisfying " - First time watercolour painter

BYO snacks and drink bottle. A materials list will be supplied after booking.
