Teeny Weeny Ziney

Event description

Learn the art of zine-making and tell compelling stories through your creations!

A zine is a magazine or book that is usually hand-made or reproduced in a limited edition. In this workshop, you'll learn how to structure your zine’s pages to reflect the beginning, middle, and end of a story. We’ll cover the basics of story-writing and comics, helping you develop characters and narratives that captivate your readers. Using a combination of collage and drawing techniques, you'll create your own handmade books. You’ll be shown how to make your own zines from scratch or work with pre-made books provided for you. We’ll also explore single-page zines and simple saddle bindings for multi-page zines, making this workshop perfect for beginners and slightly more experienced creators. Come ready to experiment, express your ideas, and leave with your own unique zine! All materials will be provided, so just bring your imagination and a passion for storytelling.
