tête-bêche; two books, one spine
Description
tête-bêche = head to toe
Publisher Laura Keenan (Night Parrot Press) and award-winning authors Karleah Olson and Rashida Murphy discuss the inventive collaboration which has resulted in tete-beche, two books, one spine.
Join them to discover how the idea to host the 'Double-Take Novelette Award' was born and how it led to choosing the twin stories that won this competition.
Old Ghosts and Bloodwood are very different in their treatment of place, character and timelines, but share a fixation for unsettling landscapes and vulnerable women.
The authors and their publisher will speak about hauntings and obsessions, and what it means to share their publishing journeys through this unconventional book concept.
Things to note:
- the venue will be open from 6.00pm
- a cash bar and small bites menu will be available
