Fiber Arts Camp - Thanksgiving - at SCRAP
Event description
This listing CAMP SCRAP, November 27th, 1-5pm.
Camp SCRAP is an arts day camp focused on creative reuse, upcycling and making resourcefully. This camp is for kids ages 8-12 who LOVE art-making, inventing, crafts, and bringing their creative ideas to life!
In this day camp, we'll be focusing on fiber arts activities, including learning how to finger knit (making a crochet-style chain with just your hands and yarn!), and learning felting.Â
SCRAP asks that campers come prepared with a lunch and water bottle, closed-toe shoes, a respectful attitude, and be ready to have fun!
We offer scholarship opportunities! Scholarships are awarded based on need and availability. Review all the details below and reach out if you have any questions!
The day runs from 1pm (with a drop-off time between 1 and 1:15), to 5pm (with a pickup time between 5:00 and 5:15) with a snack break (camper should bring their own snack, and should be nut-free).
The price per camper is $55.Â
You can apply for a scholarship through the Camp SCRAP website.
Please address any questions to richmondeducation@scrapcreativereuse.org.
