The Adaptation Game- City of Whittlesea
Event description
How ready are you for extreme weather and climate change?
Join your neighbours who are playing The Adaptation Game!
This table-top, cooperative game walks players through scenarios that could happen in the municipality based on local data. It explores how residents can prepare for things like grass fires, flooding, and extreme heat. This is a joint collaboration between City of Whittlesea Emergency Management and Sustainable Environment departments.
By playing you'll:
- Learn how best to prepare for weather and climate emergencies
- Discover what Council is doing to help
- Connect with your neighbours
Lunch will be provided.
Ages 16+ welcome, but young people aged 16-17 must be accompanied by an adult.
