The Art of Being Facilitative is practical two-day workshop to build skills and confidence in facilitation.  The workshop will be useful to people new to facilitating groups and others who are more experienced and would like to refresh their skills and learn some new approaches. 

Over the two days we will explore:

  • Facilitative frameworks.
  • Adult to Adult approaches to being facilitative
  • Several practical facilitative tools and orientations
  • Managing difficult dynamics in conversations, processes and groups

Brief preparation work including completing a learning styles inventory and watching videos will be required.

We invite participants to bring along one or two upcoming potential facilitation opportunities which may include workshops, meetings, conversations or forums to help apply activities to real world settings.

Dates: Tuesday 6th August 2024 and Wednesday 7th August 2024

        Who should attend

        Open to all in the domestic and family violence, sexual violence and women's health and wellbeing sector.

        Participants are required to attend both days - face to face only.
