The Art Of Stress Relief
Description
Join Stacy for:
The Art of Stress Relief is a creative wellness experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore the calming benefits of art-making. We begin with a little gentle movement and a guided mindfulness practice to relax and open to your innate creativity (yes, we all have it!!). Using a variety of materials and guided by simple prompts, we'll explore watercolor, mark-making, doodling, and abstract creativity in a welcoming, low-pressure environment. Each participant will create their own unique artwork, finding the sweet spot between supported exploration and authentic self-expression. Along the way, we'll enjoy a selection of herbal teas chosen to invite relaxation and ease.
This is your permission slip to step away from the demands of daily life and into a more grounded, present state (and have some fun while doing it!).
All creators are welcome, from "never touched a paintbrush" to "this is my jam."

My yoga practice started in my early 20’s when my triathlon coach recommended it as part of my training and recovery. At the time, I probably got a little more flexible but had no idea the way it would slowly and begrudgingly change my relationship to stillness. I’ve been a lifelong student of the body and mind earning my masters in Exercise Physiology and always learning new physical practices and modalities. In 2021 I completed my 200 hour YTT in Hawaii with Deborah Koehn and my Children's YTT with Courtney Hart of Therefore I Learn. My teaching style varies based on my mood but tends to incorporate music, include some playful exploration, and invite you to connect to your own inner knowing.
