About:
DFV Prevention month aims to raise awareness of domestic and family violence and for the community to come together and say no to violence.
Mercy Community’s Domestic Violence Systems Coordination team, QPS and Family Law Pathways Network- Greater Brisbane have partnered to facilitate the DFV Moreton Assemblage for Domestic Family Violence Prevention Month 2025.
The DFV Moreton Assemblage will bring together professionals, organisations, and community members to foster collaboration and improve responses to domestic violence. This event will address key challenges in inter-service coordination, explore strategies for enhancing resource accessibility, and highlight the critical role of education and awareness in prevention.
Keynote speakers will provide critical updates on domestic and family violence (DFV) law, policing responses, and legal protections. They will share insights on the impact of DFV in the community and offer practical strategies to strengthen support networks and drive meaningful change.
This event presents a vital opportunity for stakeholders to connect, share expertise, and collaborate towards building a safer and more supportive community.
