THE AUTUMN YEARS: practices + conversations for the peri- and postmenopausal woman
Description
THE AUTUMN YEARS / REFRAIMING MENOPAUSE
A day retreat for peri- and post-menopausal women
We love to invite you to a day out of the ordinary; Here we’ll explore menopause not as a medical crisis, but as a profound, natural transition. Together, we will share honest conversations about our lived experiences of this transition and explore holistic practices that deeply support your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
As we move through peri- and post-menopause, our inner and outer worlds are shifting in ways that invite us to pause, listen and birth a different way of showing up for ourselves and the world.
This birthing is not an easy task; it takes courage to move away from the feminine ideal of the eternal youthful maiden promoted by media and culture and to root ourselves in the awakening and refinement of power, wisdom and a different kind of beauty that comes with this transition.
On this day we’ll be offering space to explore:
What happens when estrogen ceases to rule your world -resting in the unknown, turning inward
Self-care, self-love and self-advocacy - physically, emotionally and spiritually
The menopausal pelvis: changes are occurring - exploring the physical and the energetic dimensions
The inner landscape of change
There will be plenty of space throughout the day to also explore other topics that are close to your heart and compare notes with the other participants and us.
Please come and pause, connect, reflect and discover what might support you as you move into this next season of your life.

I've been holding a passionate space for women for the past 15+ years. Claude Gertrude:
It's more than 30 years ago that I arrived in Sydney and embarked on my embodiment journey, exploring bodywork, dance, performance, meditation, yoga and landing more and more deeply in the spaces where women's embodiment; sensuality, sexuality and rite of passage work are being authentically explored and anchored.
I've trained in many modalities over the years, all somatic based; some for movement practices and others for becoming more attuned and eloquent with my touch, all of them increasing my capacity for showing up authentically and attuning to clients and groups with deep love, care and expertise.
It’s my passion and privilege to share myself with the world through my work.
