Sevenfold Theatre Company’s most unnecessarily complicated game show is back for a one-night-only fundraising trivia night in support of our upcoming season of This Means War by Zoë Harlen.
Part team trivia and part live game show, this is what happens when a perfectly respectable fundraiser is left completely unsupervised.
The all-stars of The ‘Big Competition Reality Pageant Game Show’ Show will return in battle against teams from our live audience. Across the evening, tables will compete through trivia, bingo, interactive challenges and live games to earn points, win prizes and take home the most coveted honour in independent theatre: a crown we almost certainly purchased ourselves. Lock it in Eddie and the flamin' hot Deena Sparkles will host the chaos with an unpredictable collection surprises.
Expect comedy, improvisation, outrageous performances, and the very real possibility that somebody from your table may Lip Sync for Their Life.
All profits from the event will go directly towards supporting Sevenfold Theatre Company’s upcoming performance season of This Means War. By buying a table, entering the raffle or donating on the night, you’ll be helping us bring an exciting new Australian work to the stage.
HOW IT ALL WORKS
TABLES
Assemble a team of between 2 and 8 people. Choose wisely, or simply grab the funniest people you know and hope for the best.
All tickets are $40 and purchased as a collective table.
*Please note that this is an 18+ event. Smaller teams may be required to share a table.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Prepare for team trivia, bingo, game-show-style interactive challenges and the chance to Lip Sync for Your Life. One team will be crowned the champions of the evening and take home a fabulous package of prizes.
DRESS CODE
Tizzy Glitz
The best-dressed competitor will win a special prize, because whilst knowledge is important - so are sequins.
FOOD + DRINK
Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase from the bar. Guests are also welcome to BYO snack food only for their table.
Doors will open at 7:00pm (30 minutes before the event starts).
RAFFLE
A fundraising raffle will run throughout the evening, with even more prizes up for grabs.

This is a joyous, fast paced and iconically Australian night of nostalgia, comedy, bootable glamorous drag, and ridiculous competition. So gather your team, and “come on down!” The tribe has spoken. CONTENT WARNINGS

- How do we book?
Congratulations, you've reached your first challenge!
Once you have curated your team, and you have your final team size it's time to purchase your ticket! All tickets are $40 and purchased as a collective table.
Select the table that represents the number of people on your team and check out! You can also add a donation to the ACF at the time of checkout.

- What exactly is this event?
It’s a one-night-only fundraising trivia night smashed together with a live game show, comedy spectacular. Tables of teams will compete through trivia, bingo, interactive games and surprise challenges, all interwoven with sketches and performances from the original 'Big Game Show Contest Competition Reality Pageant Game Show' Show
- What is the event for?
All proceeds raised from the evening will support Sevenfold Theatre Company’s upcoming performance season of This Means War by Zoe Harlen. Your ticket, raffle entries and any donations made on the night will help us bring the production to the stage.
- Who is competing?
You are! Each table is a team competing against the other tables, and occasionally against the Sevenfold All Stars onstage.
- How many people can be on a table?
Teams can have between 2 and 8 people. You don’t need to fill an entire table; a dynamic duo is just as welcome as a full team of eight.
*Please note that smaller teams may be required to share a table.
- Can our team have more than eight people?
Eight is the maximum number of players per team/table. Larger groups are welcome to book multiple tables and battle it out as rivals for the evening.
- Do I need to know/have seen the original Big Game Show?
Not at all. Returning fans will recognise some familiar faces and remounted favourites, but newcomers will be able to enjoy the entire evening without completing any Sevenfold homework.
- Do I need to be good at trivia?
Absolutely not. Trivia knowledge will help, but points can also be earned through live games, bingo, interactive challenges and dressing fabulously. We have created multiple pathways to victory for people whose greatest area of expertise is “vibes.”
- What happens during the night?

- Will I have to get onstage?
There will be opportunities for willing and wanting individuals to take part in live games and potentially Lip Sync for Their Life.
- What is the dress code?
The dress code is Tizzy Glitz. Think sequins, sparkle, game-show glamour, pageant excess or whatever makes you feel unnecessarily fabulous. The best-dressed guest will earn a special prize.
- Will food and drinks be available?
Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase from the bar. You are also welcome to BYO snack food for your table.
