In 2025, we are proud to celebrate a milestone CEW’s 40th anniversary, marking four decades of dedicated advocacy and leadership in empowering women across Australia. Over these 40 years, CEW’s founders, members, and partners have showcased resilience, commitment, and unwavering persistence in progressing gender equality. This black-tie event will celebrate the success stories and transformative impact that have inspired past, present,t and future generations.   

The evening will include addresses from our CEW President, Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz, and a panel on our theme ’40 Years of Progress’ with Bonnie Boezeman AO, Director of Australian Golf Foundation and CEW Founding Member, Leila Smith, CEO of Aurora Foundation, Shemara Wikramanayake, CEO and Managing Director of Macquarie Group, Vicki Brady, CEO of Telstra, moderated by Sandra Sully AM, Australian News Presenter and Journalist at 10 News First.

Join us for an evening of celebration, as we raise funds on the night to support the ongoing development of gender balanced leadership pipeline through our ongoing leadership development, and education of women across Australia. The 2022 CEW Census found at the current rate of progression, it will take 100 years for women to reach 40% of ASX 300 chief executive positions.
