The Early:

Record release show for Impatient.

Formed in North Jersey in 2004, The Early spans two decades, two coastlines, and an evolving lineup of multi- instrumentalists, metabolizing the textural grandeur of post-rock, the communicational intimacy of jazz improvisation, and the patient grooves of minimalism.

Basic: 

Inspired by the Robert Quine/Fred Maher record of the same name and evocative of an imaginary electronic desert blues soundtrack, Basic is the duo of Chris Forsyth (guitar) & Nick Millevoi (guitar, drum machine).

Anne Ishii & Emily Robb:

Anne Ishii is a writer/musician/artist based in Philadelphia. She is the executive director of Asian Arts Initiative and one of three in TOTALLY AUTOMATIC.

With a formidable CV in the underground and sub-underground, Emily Robb sits as the top contender for the east coast’s most modestly masterful electric guitar abuser. She served as top talent in efforts by Astute Palate, Storks, Louie Louie & Lantern, her playing shows a deep respect to the rock n’ roll form while refusing to be held back by a single one of its limitations.
