In the tantric tradition the breasts are revered for their energetic capacity to radiate the love of the heart through them; In this tradition they cultivated as the seat of deep feminine energy. They are said to be the positive pole, radiating feminine love into the world, to a consort, to the babies. The yoni (female genitalia) being the negative, the receptive pole.

In the daoist tradition they are loved and cultivated deeply for their life giving energy; not just when lactating to feed the baby but also as portal into deep self love, self healing and longevity. They are also an opening to share the endless compassion and love of the goddess for humans, the earth and the cosmos.

In both these eastern traditions there is deep awareness and reverence to the breasts not least for their capacity to evoke orgasmic energy in woman; breastgasms and heartgasms.

But how do you actually feel about your breasts? And how do your breasts feel?

Can you access them when you put your hands on them and hold them for a while? Do you ever do that?

There are so many layers of projections on them; upbringing, socialisation, sexualisation, possibly religious stuff, media, beauty ideal ...

All the gazes, all the touches, all the attention they received or didn’t receive over the years, invited or uninvited ....

How do feel about the shape of your breasts, their fullness or slackness, their weight or size?

Healthcare, breast scare; are the breasts feeling like a danger to you? Maybe you have been going through breast cancer, through surgery, chemo…

Here is an invitation to come and spend a few hours among female bodied humans; be with your breasts and your heart: sit, move, rest, inquire and getting to know your breasts from the inside out.

There is so much ease and openings when we gather in circle to feel and inquire into aspects of self and the group field of the women showing up.

We’ll share:

- altar in reverence to the breasts, the deep feminine energies being accessible through them

- a whole body/being awakening movement practice (SheSession) fokusing deeply on awakening the heart and the breasts in the context of the whole body and the energy surrounding it.

- daoist breast clearing and awakening practice

- guided somatic self massage practice

- information: embodied western physiology and daoist and tantric insights about breast care

- time to reflect on your psycho-emotional and psycho-spiritual relationship to your breasts through journaling, clayplay, drawing

- sharing and practice in dyads and in the circle

- wholesome snacks

- a follow up email with the written information of the workshop and a recorded practice.
