    Event description

The Hills Small Acreage Field Days, held at Echunga Recreation Grounds on the 9th and 10th November 2024, is the first field day in South Australia for people living on small acreage.

There will be something for the whole family at the inaugural Hills Small Acreage Field Days including a wide variety of exhibits, farming and gardening equipment displays and, more importantly, access to experts to inform and to help Hills residents to fully enjoy what Hills Living has to offer.

This is an unparalleled opportunity to talk to local business professionals and to state and local government representatives about land care, water management, caring for domestic and hobby farm animals, feral animal control, power generation, biodiversity, bushfire preparation and recovery, gardening in the Hills and more.

The event will feature a full speaker and demonstration program on topics such as fencing, chainsaw safety, fire preparation and recovery, soil and regenerative agriculture, pests and weed control, watercourse management and gardening in the Hills.

Children will not be forgotten with much to see and do in play areas.
