Tenor Louis Hurley
Louis Hurley is a Sydney-based tenor renowned for his versatility and artistry within the classical music landscape. A passionate performer of both operatic and concert repertoire, Louis's work spans from the baroque era to the contemporary compositions of the 21st century. His dedication and talent have earned him numerous accolades, including winning the prestigious 2019 Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Aria Competition and the Hans & Petra Henkell Award at the 2019 National Liederfest. As an artist with the Melba Opera Trust during the 2020/21 season, he received the esteemed Joseph Sambrook Opera Scholarship. Louis is also an alumnus of Melbourne Opera's Richard Divall Emerging Artist Programme, where he has since been recognized as an associate. With a growing reputation and a commitment to his craft, Louis continues to captivate audiences and enrich the classical music scene.
