The Point Community Planting Day
Event description
Join us at this family-friendly to revegetate Coastal Moonah Woodland and Coastal Saltmarsh species by planting local indigenous plants at The Point, Shell Rd Point Lonsdale. Come and meet other like-minded people, learn some new skills and pick up a brochure or two at this event. You can join at anytime and do as little or a lot as you wish.
Please wear long pants and a long sleeve shirt, boots or shoes that can get muddy and wear a hat. BYO water bottle. All tools and equipment will be provided.
Lunch and free coffee provided to all participants!

🕘 Time: 10am - 2pm
📍 Location: The Point, Point Lonsdale (exact location will be emailed directly).
Coordinated by Bellarine Catchment Network and Moremac, this collaborative day welcomes local environmental and community groups to join as well as families.
The event will feature:

📚 Talks on the site's ecological importance and restoration goals
🤝 A chance to connect with like-minded individuals and organisations.
